The People Bank, London Office is currently recruiting for our client for an Accounting Administrator, to work in a progressive plastic injection company. This position is located in Goderich and is for a 14 month term.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for all daily accounting procedures including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking and Fixed Assets
Post all accounts payable invoices and all sales invoices
Perform daily bank reconciliations
Accounts receivable collections, accounts payable cheque runs
Monthly balance sheet for accounting reconciliations
Maintain cash flow reports
Maintain fixed asset sub-ledger
Prepare and post month end journal entries
Maintain petty cash
Work with management team to improve quality
Other duties as assigned
Observe and practice safe work practices at all times
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:
Accounting education
2 years minimum relevant experience in accounting
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong computer skills
Proven communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Team Player
SALARY:
Pay is $28,000 per annum
