Allen Professional Search, London office, seeks a Controls Engineer / Technologist to join the growing team of our client, a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility located close to London. This is a permanent opportunity with a salary range of between 55-70K plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities:
Provide electrical /controls /PLC engineering support to maintenance, electrical and engineering departments i.e. troubleshooting, programming + design, repair and maintenance on all control, robotics and PLC systems
Manage and improve electrical documentation including updates while actively participating in CI/TPM activities
Interact effectively with internal departments, production associates and external contractors/vendors to support production goals
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
Controls Engineering Technologist (CET) diploma, with a minimum of 5-years experience in a Tier 1/2 automotive manufacturing organization
Experience with Allen Bradley/Siemens; Fanuc/Motoman Robotic systems and products is essential
Very strong troubleshooting skills, demonstrating a very strong technical background relative to process controls and programming
Proficient using Microsoft Office computer software
