 Director of Organizational Development - RELOCATE TO THE MARITIMES

The People Bank, Mississauga branch is currently recruiting for a Director of Organizational and Leadership Development.

In this role, the candidate we are searching for will demonstrate exemplary acuity building high performance leadership teams. Our client is a company looking to benefit intrinsically from enhanced organizational performance, and experience a boon associated from having well cultivated senior level management in place. The support you offer them will enrich their professional development and help them attain their full potential as leaders, which will inevitably trickle down to all company tiers.

The incumbent will primarily achieve organizational goals via the creation of leadership development and coaching programs for senior level executives and managers. This is an ideal role for a proven champion of leadership effectiveness who has a track record of aligning talent development programs with corporate business goals.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the VP Human Resources, you are responsible for the design and implementation of innovative learning programs and systems, including leadership assessment and performance reviews, key talent management coaching, leadership training, competency management, and succession planning.

Create coaching programs that provide senior level leaders with instruction on all aspects of performance management, from goal setting to performance appraisal.

Identify development programs required by the organization, and determine the content, delivery methods, time frame, and the tools and resources needed to deliver each program.

Work alongside colleagues within the organization to facilitate programs and ensure that the learning solutions provided are of the highest quality and fit in with the culture, values and mission of the organization.

Qualifications

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong project and time management skills are essential. A demonstrated ability to handle high level interpersonal relationships with tact and discretion is a must.

Knowledge of the trends impacting organizational effectiveness.
Ability to anticipate, plan, and implement change strategies as your tenure progresses

BA in Human Resources (a Masters would be considered an asset)

Minimum of 10 years experience in organizational development with large organizations.
