 Our client is looking for a successful General Manager (Hospitality) to join their team!
The People Bank Winnipeg is currently recruiting for this position for our Winnipeg client. This is a terrific opportunity for a Manager who wants to be part of a growing business and to have the latitude to implement their own creative ideas to increase profits. Opportunity to run the full operation within the next couple of years.

KEY ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

• Strong leadership qualities. Experience in hiring, firing
• Proven success as a General Manager (or Assistant General Manager who is ready for the next step!) in the hospitality industry in foods and beverages, emphasis on beverages
• Ambition and drive are key to this role
• Analytical thinker
• Experience working with budgets and analyzing P & L statements
• High energy individual
• Willingness to work varying shifts
• Post secondary business education is desirable

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Main role is to oversee lounge operations (70% liquor, 30% food)
• Ensure profitability
• Create promotions to draw in patrons
• Manage computerized inventory levels for lounge and attached vendor
• Hiring, training and development of staff
• This role will eventually be in charge of the full facility
