Allen Professional Search/ The People Bank is currently recruiting for a General Shop Foremen for our Woodstock client, a industrial parts manufacturer.
Qualifications:
o 3-5 years Supervisor experience within the Fabrication Industry
o Excellent Knowledge & working experience of welding processes SMAW (stick), GMAW (mig), FCAW( flux core), and GTAW (tig) required
o Must have ISO 9001 Quality Management Training & working knowledge
o OHSA certification
Blueprint reading and interpretation experience a must
Strong Computer Skills
Proven experience as an “active & visible” hands-on leader
Job Responsibilities:
o Provides the overall direction and coordination required to meet planned objectives for all facets of manufacturing
o Responsible for ensuring that all work performed in his/her department(s) is accomplished in accordance with the latest released Engineering drawings, work schedules, budgets, quality requirements, safety guidelines, company policies and procedures
o Provides direction & support to Manufacturing, Assembly, Shipping/ Receiving & Maintenance staff
Responsible for training, mentoring, and evaluation of 20 employees
Job Details:
This position begins as a 2-3 month Temporary Contract with strong potential for Permanent Hire.
Day shift 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
$25/hr + 4% vacation pay while on contract status
