Entry Level Accounting / Material Control
This is a position that will start off on a temporary basis with the potential to turn into full time.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Accounts receivable & payable entry into Shared Logic
• Assist Accounting Specialist with day to day accounting
• Assist Accounting specialist with month end preparation
• Assistance with ensuring that costs are in line with budget
• Entry of scale tickets into shared logic
• Review and ensure accuracy of internal inventory sheet
• Rail car tracking & reporting
• Prepare shipment documentation for cross border shipments of rail cars & trucks.
• Organize truck schedule
• Assist Group Leaders with scaling in trucks
• Create & Maintain tracking records for all maintenance on equipment
• Administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• Basic accounting knowledge, debits, credits and basic understanding of financial statements.
• Experience with shipping or material / inventory control
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Word & Excel
• Someone who has the ability to multi task or has had to in a previous job.
The ideal candidate will be open to working in multi-cultural environment, in an open office concept.
