The People Bank Markham office is currently recruiting for our client who is seeking an Accounts Receivable Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for collection on past due accounts in an inbound/outbound call centre setting. This is a long term opportunity that may lead into a permanent role.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous collection experience in a call centre setting, both inbound and outbound
- Strong negotiation skills
- Customer focus for both internal and external customers
- Responsive and easily adapts to change
- PC literate
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Team player who is goal oriented, objective driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours Monday to Friday within the hours of 8:30am and 7:30pm, and Saturday 9am to 3pm
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing excellent Customer Service
- Responsible for recovering funds on past due accounts
- Responsible for resolving customer disputes/complaints
- Responsible for explaining basic billing functions
- Responsible for departmental objectives for amounts recovered, call quality, call volumes, queue management
- Must demonstrate initiative in problem solving and in working with other departments within the organization
Salary:
$14.25/hr

Victoria Park & Sheppard.
Hours:
This position is considered part time, as 25 hours a week are guaranteed but there is the possibility to work up to 37.5 hours a week depending call volume
