Our client, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of quality fluid control components, pneumatic and motion control products, is searching for an experienced Marketing Specialist to join their team. By creating new business and developing effective sales channels for assigned products, evaluating markets and implementing strategic plans, you will help this dynamic organization with both their short- and long-range growth objectives.
- Provide assistance for business development group with promotion and sales growth of fluid controls and pneumatic fluid power products in Canada.
- Coordinate the introduction of new products platforms and product updates to the Canadian sales/marketing organization and appropriate customer channels.
- Provide analytical support in the areas of price, promotion and sales strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary education in mechanical engineering, or process/instrumentation technology, fluid power automation or controls
- MUST have some experience with industrial products, valves, controls
- Must be able to work both in a team environment and remotely, with little direct supervision
- Ability to utilize computer software to present data and reports in a meaningful format, along with strong presentation skills
- Organized, independent, self-motivated with strong ability to prioritize
