Our client, a leader in plastic injection molding is recruiting for dynamic production associates to join their team. This position is located in GODERICH and is an excellent opportunity with a progressive company.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Continuous visual production control;
• Hourly quality control in accordance with the control plan:
o Documenting of results;
o Informing the shift lead hand when non-conformities occur;
• Removing the products from the machines and packaging the products pursuant to the production order;
• Transporting the full pallets to the intermediate storage area;
• Transporting the rejects to the scrap staging area;
• General cleanliness and order in the work area;
• Stick 2 order labels on the packaging unit. The order labels are printed with the production order number. The sequence of the pallets must be maintained;
• Place Green Quality Assurance Sticker on product with initial and date, if more than one person has packed the product ensure all initials are on the sticker;
• Observe and practice safe work practices at all times;
• Other duties as assigned by management;
Qualifications: education, experience, etc.):
• Communication skills both verbal and written
• General Math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 10 lbs overhead
• HACCP training
• Must have reliable transportation, not on a bus route
• Must be available for shift work

10.50 per plus 4% vacation pay
